ACCESS (Air Craft Casualty Emotional Support Services) is a non-profit, non-political organization available for on-going, long-term grief support. In addition to emotional support, ACCESS provides information about other organizations and their roles in the aftermath of a crash, helping those in crisis become aware of the resources available to them. ACCESS is a San Francisco based 501c3 organization, founded in the fall of 1996 by Heidi Snow, who lost her fiancé in TWA flight 800. It is the only organization dedicated to partnering (mentoring) those who have survived or lost loved ones in air disasters with Volunteer Grief Mentors who have experienced similar losses in years past. Everyone at ACCESS, including myself, has survived our losses and we are living proof that others can survive too! ACCESS is available via the Toll-Free Help line (877-227-6435) and website (ACCESShelp.org).
